HC Deb 23 February 1959 vol 600 c124W
Mr. Houghton

asked the President at the Board of Trade whether, in view of the termination of the Cotton Yarn Spinners Agreement, he will reconsider his previous decision and direct the Restrictive Practices Court to give priority to the consideration of restrictive practices in the textile machinery industry.

Sir D. Eccles

The Registrar is now in the best position to judge the right order in which to bring agreements before the Restrictive Practices Court. I am satisfied that he takes into account this kind of relationship between different industries for which restrictive agreements have been registered.
