§ Mr. W. J. TaylorThis research station is to be set up on high ground and in an isolated position at Hillhead, near Fraser-burgh. Its function will be to study the effects of the aurora on radio reception as part of a programme of ionospheric106W studies. There will be no radiation dangers to local residents or to livestock. I warmly welcome this United States—United Kingdom exercise, in which we shall collaborate in a broadly-based research programme.
