asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs what is the amount of Great Britain's claim against Albania; and whether he will now take the initiative with a view to a resumption of diplomatic relations with Albania.

The compensation awarded to the United Kingdom against Albania by the International Court of Justice in the Corfu Channel case was I843,947, which is still unpaid. Her Majesty's Government are not at present contemplating any initiative towards the resumption of diplomatic relations with Albania.
