§ Mr. Viantasked the Minister of Health what were the percentages of the total population in England and Wales 66W inoculated against poliomyelitis in each of the years 1945 to 1957, and in each of the age groups.
§ Mr. Walker-SmithNone until 1956, 0.4 per cent. of the total population in that year, and a further 2.7 per cent. in 1957—all being children who had been given two injections. I do not think that the labour involved in working out separate percentages for each age group would be justified.
