§ Mr. Boyd-CarpenterNo. I have discussed with my hon. Friend the Joint Parliamentary Secretary the talk which she had with the hon. Member, and I have myself looked into the matter. I do not think that application of the rule laid down in the National Insurance Act, 1946, does cause hardship, and my hon. Friend is writing to the hon. Member.
