asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what opportunities for secondary and further education exist in St. Helena.

There is a Government Secondary School in St. Helena for education up to 15 years of age. The school is now running the Royal Society of Arts General Certificate Course. Evening courses for certain recognised educational courses have just begun.
