68. Mr. Osborne

asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what was the total consumption, and the consumption per head, in the United Kingdom for the years 1951 and 1958, respectively, of beef, mutton, pork, sugar, eggs and milk.

Consumption of all the foods except liquid milk has increased since 1951; consumption of liquid milk has increased since pre-war and consumption in 1958 was higher than in 1957, The information is as follows:
