HC Deb 10 February 1959 vol 599 c192W
Captain Kerby

asked the Minister of Health what steps he is taking to make available more hospital beds in the Home Counties area, in view of the shortage of accommodation at the Great Ormond Street Hospital for Sick Children, for hydrocephalic children in need of the Spitz-Holter valve operation.

Mr. Walker-Smith

I have not received any representations from the responsible hospital boards that there is a shortage of accommodation for hydrocephalic children who can benefit by this treatment.
