HC Deb 09 February 1959 vol 599 c141W
58. Mr. G. Thomas

asked the Minister of Health whether he is aware of the hours of duty required of nursing staff in the Cardiff Royal Infirmary and in Llandough Hospital, Cardiff; and whether the Welsh Board of Health will now conduct a survey of the establishment at both these hospitals with a view to making recommendations as to how the hours of nursing duty may be reduced to the level recommended in his recent Circular H.M. (58) 45.

Mr. R. Thompson

Yes. My right hon. and learned Friend has received through the Welsh Board of Health a request from the Governors for a survey and has decided to accede to it.
