§ Mr. WatkinsonThe latest methods of design and construction used in the U.S.A. and other countries are closely studied, their technical literature is available, and members of the engineering staff of my Department have made a number of visits abroad to gain knowledge at first hand. This information is also available to the local authority engineers.
