HC Deb 02 February 1959 vol 599 c26W
Sir A. Bossom

asked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation what statistics he keeps as to the number of bus passengers travelling in Greater London per year; and what information he has as to the average time wasted in delays, during working hours, from any cause to which these passengers are subjected.

Mr. Watkinson

The number of passengers carried by London Transport by road in 1957 was 3,159 million. I have no information about the average time wasted in delays.
