HC Deb 17 December 1959 vol 615 c252W
120. Wing Commander Bullus

asked the Postmaster-General how many people are waiting for the telephone service in the Borough of Wembley; and when it is expected that these applicants will possess the service.

Mr. Bevins

Seven. In addition 180 are under inquiry or in course of being met. Most of the applicants at present waiting will, I hope, have telephones within four months.

During the past twelve months over 1,100 telephones have been installed in Wembley.
