HC Deb 17 December 1959 vol 615 c204W
14. Mr. Zilliacus

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies why Mr. Aloys Camden and his wife, originally from the French Cameroons, but for twenty years established as farmers in the district of Tombel in the British Cameroons, have been put into gaol; and whether he will give an assurance that they will not be deported to the French Cameroons.

Mr. J. Amery

I understand from the Governor-General that there is no record of anyone of this name having been arrested or imprisoned. If the hon. Member can provide me with any more information I will again ask the Governor-General to investigate.
