§ 78. Mr. H. Hyndasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if his attention has been drawn to the defect in the Maintenance Orders Act, 1958, by which a person can limit his earnings to the protected earnings rate provided for under Clause 6 (3) (b) and thus defeat the object of a court order; and if he will introduce amending legislation to remedy this defect.
§ Mr. VosperMy right hon. Friend does not see how legislation could deal with the circumstance which the hon. Member has in mind, but he will consider any detailed proposal which the hon. Member may care to make.
