§ 104. Mr. F. Noel-Bakerasked the Minister of Transport what steps he will take, by the provision of traffic signals or in other ways, to alleviate dangers to pedestrians and motorists at the intersections of Drove Road, Groundwell Road, and Cumberland Road, Swindon.
§ Mr. HayThe volume of traffic at this intersection does not warrant the installation of traffic lights, but we would be happy to authorise the re-siting of the pedestrian crossing in Drove Road at a position south of the crossroads and away from the bulk of turning traffic.
