§ Mr. Sydney Irvingasked the President of the Board of Trade what plans he has for assisting British participation in international trade fairs in 1960.
§ Mr. MaudlingThe Board of Trade will in 1960 be primarily concerned to give full support to the all-British Exhibition to be organised by the Federation of British Industries in New York. In addition, it will mount official displays in two general international fairs, one in Europe and one in Canada. It will be responsible for organising United Kingdom sections in four other such fairs in Europe and Africa. It is planning to collaborate with six trade associations to mount displays of British products at specialised fairs in Europe and Australia. Full details are as follows:
