Yatesasked the Minister of Transport if he has yet received from the Wellington Rural District Council and the Shropshire County Council any requests that the plan for the Hadley Road improvement scheme for road safety near Messrs. Sankey's works be approved for the 1960–61 financial year; and what decision he has taken thereon.
§ Mr. HayWe have not received a plan but we are aware that the Shropshire County Council would like to carry out a scheme here in the next financial year. My right hon. Friend will be glad to consider it for inclusion in his annual programme of small improvement schemes, but there will, of course, be many competitors.
