HC Deb 15 December 1959 vol 615 c152W
Mr. de Freltas

asked the Postmaster-General whether he is aware of the inconvenience caused to the residents of Ermine Estate West, Lincoln, who have a considerable distance to walk to the nearest post office; and whether he will arrange for a post office to be established on the west side of Ermine Estate.

Miss Pike

The sub-post office in Ermine (East) is within a reasonable distance of the west side of the Estate, and I am sorry that I should not be justified in providing another office. For those who do not wish to walk to the Ermine (East) office, there are bus services to the Burton Road and Newport offices.
