Her Majesty's Government's views on the report were stated by the United Kingdom representative to the United Nations during the course of the General Assembly Debate on Hungary on 8th December. A copy of the text of his speech is also in the Library.

Mr. Zilliacusasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he approved the statement made by the United Kingdom's delegate to the United Nations Organisation in the debate on Hungary to the effect that disciplinary action by a member State against its own nationals in contravention of the General Assembly's resolutions was a matter of concern to the United Nations Organisation; and if he will make a statement.
