§ Mr. John HareVirus of the type "O" has been identified. Inquiries into the origin of the primary outbreak in Gloucestershire are not yet complete, but there are indications that it may have arisen out of the feeding of waste foodstuffs to pigs. The outbreaks in110W Leicestershire are secondaries resulting from the movement of pigs from Gloucestershire.
