§ Sir D. EcclesThe number entering training colleges and university departments of education in 1959 was 20,046, compared with 18,191 in 1958 and 15,264 in 1955. The details are given below. The entry this year was the highest ever, and I am glad to take this opportunity of72W congratulating all the training establishments on these good results.
