§ Mr. BarberMy right hon. Friend had an informal talk with representatives of industry on Monday, 7th December, about the trend of prices. He was glad to find that their organisations agreed with him on the importance of stability and recognised that they had a share in the responsibility for its continuance. The four Presidents undertook that their organisations would give careful and speedy study to these matters in the light of what my right hon. Friend said.
