HC Deb 03 December 1959 vol 614 c160W
113. Mr. Chapman

asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food whether he is aware that a hound belonging to the Heythrop Hunt has been roaming Exmoor in a wild state for three months during which it has killed or maimed over 20 sheep; and, as the police have refused to shoot the animal, whether he will use his powers under Section 2 (1) (b) of the Dogs Act, 1906, to seize and destroy it.

Mr. Godber

I am informed that the hound was shot on 26th November.
