§ Mr. Lennox-BoydYes. The composition of the outgoing Executive Council was given in my reply of the 26th March to the hon. Member for Rugby (Mr. J. Johnson); that of the present Council in my hon. Friend's reply of 21st April to the hon. Member for Eton and Slough (Mr. Brockway).
All nine—previously only seven—of the unofficial Ministers have portfolios. Seven—previously six—are elected members of Legislative Council. Six—previously five—belong to the Mauritius Labour Party; one to the Moslem Committee of Action—new party. The other two—previously three—are nominated members of Legislative Council and are Independents.
