asked the Secretary of State for War what representations he has received from trades unions representing workers at British military establishments in Aden about wages and working conditions; what reply he has given to them; and whether he will make a statement.

A claim for increased wages and improved conditions for locally engaged employees of the Service Departments in Aden was submitted by the Forces Local Employees' Union on 6th April and is now being considered.
