Mr. Wadeasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he is aware of the complaints made by registered tomato and cucumber growers regarding the procedure of the Tomato and Cucumber Marketing Board's proposed poll; and, in view of the importance of the issues involved to the agriculture of the country, what action he proposes to take in the matter.
§ Mr. GodberMy right hon. Friend is aware that some growers have expressed dissatisfaction. But the procedure to be followed is laid down in the scheme which was approved by Parliament. The Board is responsible for matters of this sort.
