§ 89. Sir A. Hurdasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food for which counties he has approved sheep dipping regulations which allow the use of sprays as well as baths; and to what extent the experience gained has satisfied him that the economical alternative can be allowed generally.
§ Mr. GodberNone. The power of local authorities to make dipping regulations derives from my right hon. Friend's powers for the control of sheep scab. My right hon. Friend is advised that spraying could not be relied upon to control sheep scab if it were to re-appear on farms in this country.
