§ Mr. Geoffrey LloydIn recent years about 50 per cent. of all children in maintained schools have had their teeth examined each year. Figures are not available of children who have had more than one such inspection. In almost every part of England and Wales some dental care is available for school children under the School Dental Service, but in many areas the service is not yet as comprehensive as I would like.
