HC Deb 27 April 1959 vol 604 c75W
12. Mr. Logan

asked the Minister of Supply what action he will take to provide sufficient work at the Royal Ordnance Factory, at Fazakerley, Liverpool, and thus safeguard the employment position of the 36 employees who are at present threatened with dismissal at the factory.

Mr. W. J. Taylor

Employment on production is likely to continue at substantially the present level for at least a year. The redundant unestablished employees to whom the hon. Member refers have to be discharged because the volume of certain inspection work has declined.
