HC Deb 27 April 1959 vol 604 c82W
72. Mr. Swingler

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs to what extent the provisions for supplying nuclear arms to Germany include in all cases a provision for retaining control of the use of these arms in non-German hands.

Mr. Selwyn Lloyd

So far as Her Majesty's Government are concerned, our policy was set out in my reply to the right hon. Member for Ebbw Vale (Mr. Bevan) on 2nd December. I have nothing to add to this and to the reply I gave to the hon. Member for Ashfield (Mr. Warbey) on 15th April and that given him by my right hon. Friend the Prime Minister on 9th April.
