HC Deb 27 April 1959 vol 604 c98W
Mr. Benn

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what complaints he has received from the Aden Trades Union Congress about the conduct of the police in industrial disputes; whether he will arrange for consultations on these and other questions, between those officially concerned, to take place in Aden; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Lennox-Boyd

I have received no such complaints. The Aden Government are always ready to enter into appropriate consultations with the Aden Trades Union Congress, but I do not consider that special consultations, as suggested, are at present required.
