§ 71. Mr. Parkerasked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation what will be the extra cost of constructing the south and east Oxford by-pass as a result of starting work before purchase of the necessary land was completed.
§ Mr. NugentThere have been unexpected difficulties in acquiring all the land required for the Oxford western bypass, as a result of which the contractors may lodge a claim. If they so decide, the claim will be considered on its merits at the appropriate time.
