68. Mr. Ernest Davies

asked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation if he has yet received from the British Transport Commission the results of its inquiry, instigated at his request, into the modernisation programme; in what form it is proposed to publish it; and when it will be available to hon. Members.

Mr. Watkinson

The British Transport Commission, hopes to let me have its report on the re-appraisal of its modernisation programme during May. I have it in mind to publish the report as soon as possible after that.
