§ 73. Mr. Russellasked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation what guidance he has given to local authorities about the position and adequacy of signs showing the names of streets in urban areas.
§ Mr. WatkinsonAlthough I have no formal responsibility for street name plates, recommendations at some length on this subject were contained in a Circular from my Department to local authorities in 1952. I will gladly consider whether a re-issue of this circular would be justified.
