asked the Minister of Education how many candidates from secondary modern schools entered for the General Certificate of Education Examination, Ordinary, in 1957, had passes in one, two, three, four, five, or more subjects, or in none, respectively; what was the distribution of passes among subjects; and what was the total number of passes and failures.
