facilities in the United Kingdom for nationals of those countries. Exactly how much will be spent in or for the benefit of any particular country of the three is not yet known, but Her Majesty's Government try as far as possible to spend it on projects which will be of benefit to all.
The technical assistance provided by the United Kingdom to Iraq, prior to the latter's withdrawal from the Bagdad Pact, is not of course recoverable. In addition, Her Majesty's Government had contributed the equipment for the Nuclear Training Centre in Bagdad, together with some of the staff and a share of the running costs. Negotiations between the Pact organisation and the Iraqi authorities for the disposal of this equipment have not yet been completed
