asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Admiralty when the new uniforms and bluettes will be volve a considerable amount of work and cannot be undertaken.

The statistics maintained by my Department do not distinguish between strikes, "walk-outs" and lock-outs nor between those which are "official" and "unofficial". They exclude stoppages involving fewer than ten workers, and those which lasted less than one day, unless the aggregate number of working days lost exceed 100.

We will be issuing a new type of diagonal serge suit and new pattern overalls to the Women's Royal Naval Service early in the New Year.
