Mr. Gresham Cookeasked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation if he will list the grants which have been notified to local authorities for schemes of major road improvement and new construction of classified roads for 1959–60 and for the current financial year.
§ Mr. WatkinsonI have made no grants for 1959–60 and I shall not be able to announce a full list of the bigger schemes in the current financial year until the end of that year.
