§ Mr. Robensasked the Minister of Labour if he will publish the number of cases referred to the Industrial Disputes Tribunal since its inception; and the results.
§ Mr. Iain MacleodThis information has been published each year in the Ministry's Annual Report, together with a statement showing how many awards were made. As at 3rd November, 1958, 1,287 cases had been referred to the Tribunal and the total number of awards issued by the Tribunal was 1,160. Most of the cases dealt with by the Tribunal arose out of disputes relating to wages. Other matters dealt with by the Tribunal were too varied to be classified numerically.
§ Mr. F. Noel-Bakerasked the Minister of Labour what reply he has sent to representations from the Swindon and 152W plus is of the total dockers on the register for the port; and how these figures compare with those for October, 1957.
