§ Mr. Patrick Maitlandasked the Secretary of State for Scotland how many fatalities have occurred since the war at Fiddler's Bridge, Braidwood, Lanark-shire; and when he will cause safety improvements to be made either on the bridge itself or the approaches to it.
§ Mr. MaclaySince 1st January, 1949, the earliest date from which records are available, there has been one fatal injury at this bridge. Tenders for the construction of a new bridge have been obtained and are at present under consideration.
