§ Mr. Hector Hughesasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs what agreement Her Majesty's Government have reached with the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics and the United States 138W of America, or with either of them, on nuclear tests or on the use of nuclear energy for war or for peaceful purposes, respectively; and if he will specify the terms of any such agreement.
§ Mr. Ian HarveyHer Majesty's Government have concluded agreements with the United States of America on the peaceful uses of atomic energy for civil and mutual defence purposes. The texts of these agreements and amendments to them are given in official publications listed below. No such agreements have been concluded with the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics and no agreements on nuclear tests have been concluded either with the Soviet Union or with the United States of America.
