§ Mr. Boyd-CarpenterNo. The National Assistance Board has not got a general responsibility on welfare matters, different aspects of which are the concern of several of my right hon. Friends and of a number of local authorities. The nomenclature suggested by my hon. Friend would therefore, I think, be misleading.
