§ Mr. Rawlinsonasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many male persons were prosecuted in England and Wales in the years 1956, 1957, and 1958, respectively, in cases in which all involved were over the age of 21 years, and between the ages of 18 and 21 years, respectively, for buggery with another male person, and for acts of gross indecency between male persons in private, respectively; how many persons were consequentially convicted of these two offences; and how many of those convicted were sentenced to terms of imprisonment, or other detention, in respect of them.
