HC Deb 12 November 1958 vol 595 c51W
100. Mr. Godman Irvine

asked the Postmaster-General why television reception in the Bexhill area has recently been of such poor quality; and when satisfactory reception can be anticipated in this area.

Mr. K. Thompson

The trouble has been due to a recurrence of adverse propagation conditions which cause interference from distant radio stations. This phenomenon is unfortunately liable to affect reception of television in Bexhill from time to time.
