§ Mr. McInnesasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what representations he has received regarding mobile shops operating on local authority housing schemes and in new towns where adequate shopping facilities already exist; and what action he proposes to take.
§ Mr. MaclayI have recently received joint representations on this matter from the East Kilbride Trades Association and the Scottish Council of Tenants. On the information at present before me I am not satisfied that action on my part is deeded, but I have offered these bodies an opportunity to supplement their written representations.
