§ Mr. WoodIt is not possible to identify school leavers separately, but on 13th October, 1958, 4,342 boys and 2,549 girls who were registered as unemployed were recorded as having no previous employment. Most of them probably left school this year. These figures, however, would not include any of this year's school-leavers who might have obtained employment but since become unemployed.
