§ 75. Mr. Willeyasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will now make arrangements for the University Grants Committee to present reports annually.
Mr. AmoryThe University Grants Committee publishes an Interim Report on the first four years of the quinquennium in the last year of that quinquennium, and a Report on the full quinquennium in the first year of the next one. This seems to me the right procedure, since university policy and development can only be reviewed over a period of years. In addition, the Committee publishes statistical returns annually, as well as periodic Reports on particular topics.
