§ Mr. Iain MacleodAt 13th January there were 128 unemployed persons on the registers of Maltby Employment Exchange and Youth Employment Office, all of whom were wholly unemployed. At 12th May, the latest date for which figures are available, there were 256 persons registered as wholly unemployed and 74 who were temporarily stopped from work on the day of the count.
