§ Mr. Lennox-BoydDisorders lasting about ten days arose out of demonstrations of mourning at the death in a car accident of Alhaji Adelabu, the Leader of the Opposition in the Western Regional House of Assembly. I understand that the later disturbances turned to some extent into anti-tax agitation. There were twenty deaths, of which four occurred when police were forced to fire on hostile armed crowds.
