§ Mr. Knox Cunninghamasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs what progress has been made by the Ministers' Deputies at their meeting on 24th March in the implementation of Recommendation 155 of the Council of Europe relating to a European Civil Service.
§ Mr. Ian HarveyBefore taking further action on this Recommendation, the Ministers' Deputies at their meeting on 25th March decided to await decisions by the Commissions of the European 95W Economic Community and Euratom, whom the Secretary-General has been instructed to approach, on the extent to which they would be able to participate in the Council of Europe's Working Party on the European Civil Service. Meanwhile the question will remain on the agenda of the Ministers' Deputies.
